The artisan behind this antique piece is a National Awardee named Golapa from Damar Tribe Odisha.A 4000-year-old non-ferrous metal casting started at the dawn of (Mohenjadaro and Harappa) civilization and tribal people are still maintaining their legacy.This is made by the lost wax technique and uses brass metal, clay, bee wax, cow dung, resin, and nut oil. to prepare this unique art. It involved 13 stages to land up at this final product.
